Having recognised the importance of the Internet as an effective communications and promotion medium, Gilpin Travel Management had already taken the step online in the mid-1990s. However, the website had become dated over time and had inadvertently fallen into disrepair.
Gilpin Travel Management wanted to overhaul its existing Web presence with a striking, fashionable visual design to echo the company’s energy, growth and unique positioning.
Furthermore, Gilpin Travel Management did not want to have to employ a full-time Webmaster to maintain the website in-house, nor did it want to spend valuable time tooling up its staff with HTML skills.

Having spoken to several vendors and Web design agencies, Gilpin Travel Management finally turned to websteps for a result.
Gilpin Travel Management’s Managing Director, Mr. Peter Dick, recollects that after seeing everything else, websteps was like a breath of fresh air:

Dick explains, “The addition of a content management tool means that my staff and I are free to update the site directly. I don’t have to employ a full time web master or engage in costly maintenance contracts with a web designer.”
